Star Wars…

Episode VII…

I’m more excited about Star Wars now than I was before seeing the film. It has reignited my childhood adoration for the franchise.

The whole time I was watching the movie I felt like a little kid again, enthralled by the wonder and magic of Lucas’s universe.

I loved everything about it—

The strong female protagonist who passes the Bechtel-Wallace test in the first ten minutes of the film.

The inversion of Luke’s character arc for the new villain Rylo Ken.

The beautiful, true-to-form visual style of the series.BB-8

The skillful execution and balance of action, drama, and bathos.

The skin-prickling emotion of the music by John Williams.

The homages to Hoth, Endor, and the Cantina.

New but parallel uses of the Force and its manipulations.

And BB-8… so awesome.

Episode 7 has reignited my passion for Star Wars and reinvigorated my inner-storyteller. It’s everything I want to do and achieve in life.

So amazing…

I can’t wait to see it again.
